Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Firstly everyone at Trowbridge Festival would like to wish all of our supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As the year draws to a close it’s perhaps a good time to look back on the Festival’s year and let you know what look forward to in 2020.
First and foremost, we’d like to let you know that we’re working hard on a 2020 Festival. The issues that upset this year’s event are being closely reviewed and we hope to have some more concrete news for you in the new year.
It was a sad time for us in 2019, but the Festival has always been built on the hard work of a small but dedicated group of workers who have taken worse blows than this. Our fighting spirit continues and we’re pushing hard to carry on this great yearly tradition.
While the vast majority of our time is taken up with behind the scenes tasks and oodles of administrative work, we think it’s important that we still carry on supporting live music, local artists and events in the local area. That’s why we’re using our skills to put on smaller performances around the area, not only to raise awareness of the festival, but to support those artists who have dedicated their talents to the festival year after year.
You may have already seen that the first we have to announce is Gigspanner Big Band, who will be playing at the Holy Trinity Church on April 17th 2020, tickets sales for which will be available on our website. https://www.trowbridgefestival.co.uk/online-ticket-shop/
As said we’re working hard to keep you up to date with news as soon as we’re in a position to share. As always keep an eye on our Facebook page, Twitter (@trowbridgefesti) and if you haven’t already, sign up to our email newsletter which you can do at the bottom of our contact page on our website https://www.trowbridgefestival.co.uk/contact-us/
