A Sound Like No Other
Founded in 2013, The Leylines bring together a mix of musical styles to create something that isn’t quite folk, sort of punk, but 100% heart-pounding revelry. Their music, infused with themes of social issues, life on the road, and partying with friends, has resonated with audiences across the country.
With their unique sound and electrifying performances, the band quickly became a festival staple, earning a devoted fan base who thrive on their infectious energy.
Albums and Festival Highlights
In 2016, The Leylines released their debut album, Along The Old Straight Track, produced by Sean Lakeman and mixed by Al Scott. Drawing comparisons to The Levellers, Mad Dog Mcrea, and Ferocious Dog, the record showcased a band forging its own identity while staying true to its folk-rock roots.
Following the album’s release, the band embarked on national tours and landed a coveted spot at Glastonbury Festival 2017, where they played six sets in six days. They’ve since performed at major UK festivals, including Beautiful Days, Goldcoast Oceanfest, Something To Smile About Festival, The Godney Gathering, and Big Feastival.
Their second album, Recover Reveal, was released in 2019 after nearly three years of crafting and perfecting tracks on the road. The result is a collection of sincere, heartfelt performances that capture the raw energy of their live shows.
