Following the resounding success of last year’s P.U.M.P.@ the Pump, we are once again asking all unsigned acts who want to compete to perform at the 2010 Festival to apply for the P.U.M.P. Just fill in an application form and send a £10 cheque payable to Dorothy House Hospice along with your CD/DVD or youtube/ myspace links and you can enter the P.U.M.P. All submissions will be listened to by a panel of musicians/ promoters. The best 8 will be invited to perform one number at Trowbridge 2010 in front of an esteemed panel of judges who will pick the winner to perform up to 3 numbers on one of our stages that weekend. The winning act is guaranteed a full gig at Trowbridge 2011 on one of our main stages. Last year’s winners were Katy Boyd and Benny Wain, and we look forward to them opening this year’s P.U.M.P. competition and performing live on our folk/acoustic stage.
