Terms and Conditions

PURCHASE OF TICKETS FOR TROWBRIDGE VILLAGE PUMP FESTIVAL 2010 SIGNIFIES YOUR AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS  
 
1.All ticketholders shall read and observe these terms and conditions and other information provided to them when entering the campsite and the secure arenas.  
 
2.In the event of an emergency the event organisers, their security team and stewards are trained to deal with your safety; it is vital that you listen to their instructions and comply with them.  
 
3.Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times.  
 
4.The biggest risks to children are the river and the mill stream. Please do not allow your children to play in or near the water. There are areas of deep water and, depending on weather conditions, the current and volume of water can change quickly. Despite there being a swimming club on site, we do not recommend that you or your children swim in the river as it can contain unacceptably high levels of some chemicals at some times.  
 
5.Children’s hearing is more sensitive to noise levels; please protect your child from prolonged exposure to noise during the event.  
 
6.Every person aged 10 and over entering the event site, including the campsite, must have a valid ticket. Those without tickets will be directed to a holding area where they can purchase tickets before entering the campsite.  
 
7.It is requested that children under 10 have a contact mobile phone number only on their issued white wristband.  
 
8.Ticket holders must check their tickets in advance; mistakes cannot be rectified on the day.  
 
9.The event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry of the ticket holder to the event site.  
 
10.Attendees found to be causing damage to the site and its infrastructure, causing harm to any other person on site or to be in breach of our terms and conditions may be excluded from the site and subsequently prosecuted or subject to civil action.  
 
11.The event organisers will require those appearing 21 or under to provide formal ID if they wish to purchase, consume or possess alcohol on site.  
 
12.It is prohibited for any person under the age of 18 to have in their possession and/ or consume alcohol on site, including the campsite. The event organisers reserve the right to confiscate alcohol in the possession of attendees unable to provide ID of being 18 or over.  
 
13.It is prohibited for any person to bring excessive amounts of alcohol (over 16 pints of beer or equivalent alcohol levels of wines and spirits) onto the campsite.  
 
14.Groups of youths entering the site will be subject to ID cheques, possession of alcohol checks and will be escorted to designated areas of the campsite to limit disruption and nuisance to families.  
 
15.Tickets are not transferable. No refunds will be made unless the event is cancelled prior to its commencement.  
 
16.No duplicate tickets or wristbands will be issued in the event of loss.  
 
17.Admission to the site is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The event organisers will not be liable for accident, injury, damage sustained or loss or theft of property whilst on site.  
 
18.Camping is allowed on the site only in designated camping areas that will be marked out. Any tent, caravan or motorhome pitched in an area not designated by us will be removed at the ticket holder’s risk.  
 
19.Coaches, buses or lorries are not allowed on site, even if converted for accommodation.  
 
20.Tents must be of a size reasonable for the number of inhabitants; depending on space, the use of larger awnings may be restricted. The organisers reserved the right to leave judgement on reasonable camping space provision to the campsite manager whose decision is final.  
 
21.All litter should be deposited at the base of our large recycling skips or in the refuse sacks provided around the site. Do not attempt to load the skips yourselves. Please note that all litter is sorted and processed through a recycling company to minimise land fill requirements and damage to the environment.  
 
22.All attendees with valid tickets their tents, caravans and motorhomes may access the site after 12.00 Wednesday 21st July and must vacate the site by 17:00 Monday July 26th 2010. Any property left after this time will be removed and disposed of. All ticket holders agree to vacate the site by this time.  
 
23.Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with authorised production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/ or audio recording of this event. This includes filming by the police or security which may be carried out for security of customers.  
 
24.Unauthorised photography or use of recording equipment is prohibited.  
 
25.The event organisers reserve the right to make any change whatsoever to the published programme owing to unforeseen or unavoidable causes. Changes of any act within the programme does not constitute cancellation of the event as a whole.  
 
26.Tickets / wristbands for children under 16 will not be sold or issued unless the child is accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult over the age of 21.  
 
27.This event takes place outdoors on grassland. Customers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and to protect themselves against all weather conditions.  
 
28.No animals are permitted on site, including the campsite, unless they are special assistance dogs. Prior approval from the organisers must be arranged for the presence of special assistance dogs and owners/ carers will be issued with authorisation.  
 
29.No unauthorised trading, fly pitching or any other unauthorised sale or distribution of goods, services or materials is permitted.  
 
30.No illegal items or substances may be brought onto the festival site; any found will lead to exclusion from the site and prosecution.  
 
31.WARNING – prolonged exposure to noise above the level of spoken word can lead to impairment of hearing.  
 
32.No glass bottles, drinking glasses or other glass objects that might present a risk to others are allowed in the performance arenas. The organisers reserve the right to remove any glass items in the possession of attendees.  
 
33.No cans of alcohol will be allowed into the secure arenas. They will be allowed on the campsite by those aged 18 and over.  
 
34.NO OPEN FIRES are allowed on site, including the campsite. Charcoal BBQs as a controlled method of cooking are allowed.  
 
35.Those with special needs should contact the organisers in advance to check whether the event is suitable to their particular requirements. The organisers attempt to make the event as accessible as possible to less able people through the provision of disabled toilets and showers, a disabled viewing platform and trackways to ease movement of wheelchairs. However, the event is held on a green field site with uneven ground that can become wet, muddy and hazardous in rainy conditions.  
 
36.Disabled parking and camping is limited and reserved for holders or a valid disabled blue badge only. Large groups of friends and families accompanying a blue badge holder will not be able to camp in the disabled area as space here is limited to those with difficulties. A carer and a disabled attendee’s children will be able to accompany a disabled attendee in the disabled camping area.  
 
37.Fireworks, smoke canisters, offensive weapons, fake weapons, gun caps and other items that may cause distress to others are prohibited. Any such items will be confiscated. Use of such items may lead to exclusion from the site.  
 
38.Any person behaving in an unacceptable way that is in conflict with our licence objectives relating to public safety, protection of children from harm, public nuisance and prevention of crime may be excluded from site and subsequently prosecuted. The organisers reserve the right to implement any additional restrictions/ conditions deemed necessary to ensure the safe running of the event.  
 
39.Please note that to comply with no smoking legislation, all our marquees are deemed to be structures within which smoking is prohibited, even when some of the sides of the marquees are temporarily opened up. Please adhere to no smoking signage in all structures.
